Over the last few months, we have seen a large amount of guidance released by the government related to COVID 19. We are mindful that it can sometimes be hard to navigate the information and so we thought it may be useful to summarise the key points here.
The DFE and Public Health England have advised that we must ensure that any child, parent or staff member who develops symptoms relating to Covid-19 gets tested. This is essential to ensure the safety of everyone else in each class bubble. We are encouraging anyone who is displaying symptoms to get tested and to inform us of the result.
Please read and follow the guidance set out here if you or a member of your household has a possible or confirmed case of coronavirus. Stay at home: guidance for households with possible or confirmed coronavirus (COVID-19) infection
Please read and understand the following guidance for parents and carers on supporting children and young people’s mental health and wellbeing during the coronavirus (COVID 19) pandemic. Guidance-on-supporting-children-and-young-peoples-mental-health-and-wellbeing
We recognise that this is a difficult time for many of you and appreciate all of your efforts in working with us to stop the spread of the virus and maintain the safety of everyone in school. Please don’t hesitate to contact us, should you have any queries.
