COVID-19 Framework at HIC
COVID-19 risk management procedures at our college includes –
- COVID-19 station at the college – The COVID-19 team at HIC have setup a COVID station in the medical room to facilitate easy testing at the college. This station has access to all necessary materials and equipment needed to perform Lateral Flow Tests(LFT). Instructions to take the test are displayed clearly on the station.
- COVID-19 Flowchart – This COVID-19 flowchart is updated as per latest guidelines issued by NHS and Public Health Organisation and is clearly displayed in several sections of the facility.
- COVID-19 reminders to students and staff – The college ensures that weekly reminders are sent to students and staff members to take LFT tests at the college and home. We encourage everyone to take the test twice in a week.
- COVID-19 Team – This team comprises of a Lead Administrator and 2 Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). The team together ensures that everyone is tested against COVID-19 at the college and at home on a continues basis. They maintain all records about COVID-19 kit distribution, inventories and updating test results.
