Starting September 2016, HIC will introduce the renowned Duke of Edinburgh Award (DofE).
DofE was set up by Prince Phillip, the Duke of Edinburgh in 1956. It’s an award that encourages young people, from ages 14-24 years old, to go outside and experience life, while learning new skills, helping out others and improving their physical well-being. It has 3 different levels of awards: Bronze, Silver and Gold. By HIC bringing the DofE award, it will make the college experience even more exciting for young people.
