Kandiah Kandeepan

MSc Imperial College London, PGCE, BSc (Hons)

Mr Kandeepan started his teaching career in the early 1990s with his top Advanced level results. His natural teaching abilities and systematic and structured approach has been praised by many students and parents.

After finishing his degree he started teaching at colleges in London and his passion for teaching motivated him to complete a PGCE. Furthermore, due to his career ambition and urge to become a top level teacher, he went on to study an MSc at Imperial College London.

He now has more than 25 years of teaching experience. Countless students have passed with top grades under his excellent and dedicated teaching. He is fully committed to enhancing the skills and knowledge of young students. Over the past 15 years many students have had to book in advance and wait for 2-3 months in order to get a place in his elite teaching group. Kandiah is a thinker with great vision and also a person who can add value to the child’s academic life. His teaching has elevated many students’ mathematical and analytical skills and these students have moved on to top universities to read econometrics, engineering, computer science and mathematics. Many of his students have then gone on to work in an array of elite environments such as: Rolls-Royce, UBS Bank, City Bank, Goldman Sachs, Bank of America, Glaxo SmithKline (GSK), in the NHS, for the Bar Council and many other leading public and private sectors.

Mrs Eesha Saadrani

MBA in General Management, BE (bachelor’s in engineering) Electronics & Communication

Eesha pursued her MBA in general management from the University of East London. She is a hard-working, collaborative and dedicated individual with experience in the administrative sector, where she has led and managed several teams. She also has experience working with children in the Education Sector in the UK.

Eesha is an enthusiastic individual who loves to work as a team and always understands the individual needs of students and staff. As the newly appointed College Administrator and Assistant Exams Officer, Eesha oversees the general college administrative tasks and assists the main Examination Series. She is an excited and happy individual who is keen to work towards the growth of college.

Teacher of English

Ms Maneesha Sharma

MA, TEFL

Maneesha gained her BA (Hons) in English from the University of Calcutta (Kolkata, India) and studied French to Diploma level. She started her career as an administrator, but quickly became a French-English translator and interpreter in India and overseas. After an extended stay in South America and Africa, where, alongside her translation work, she also started to teach, Maneesha came to live in the UK. She completed her TEFL qualification, then a Master’s degree in Education (Management) from The Open University in 1996, after which she worked several years as college administrator and radio broadcaster, before focusing mainly on English teaching. She became the GCSE English teacher of a private college, where every year her students achieved top grades in English Language and Literature. Maneesha has also taught KS2 and KS3 English, along with 11+ entrance exams, verbal reasoning and more recently, A-Level English.

Dr. Moumita Ganguly

PhD in Plant Molecular Biology and Biotechnology

Moumita has completed her PhD and Post-Doctoral Research work in Plant Molecular Biology and Biotechnology from University of Calcutta, India. She has done important publications in peer-reviewed journals. A dedicated professional with a proven ability to teach, undertake research projects and motivate students by encouraging a positive and energetic environment. Having spent more than ten years in research and teaching work, she has contributed to the progress of students in various aspects of life.

Sivarupan Sivapatham

PGCE, University of Greenwich

Sivarupan holds a PGCE from University of Greenwich and a fully qualified Math teacher with 10 years of experience in secondary school education. He is a graduate in Computer Systems Engineering (B.Eng.) from City University, London. Sivarupan is an enthusiastic professional in his role as a mathematics teacher at HIC for last 6 years. My dedication is to provide students with knowledge and appropriate activities designed to fulfill their potential for their intellectual growth. Since he chooses to be a professional in education sector, he finds great satisfaction in being able to create learning centered classroom by applying differentiated and pedagogic teaching as his key scaffolding strategies. He is keen to work at HIC and successfully taught many students at key stages 4 & 5 at our college. We believe that he can contributed greatly to our academic team who share the values, work together for the benefits of the students.

Ms Elizabeth Frimpong

Ms. Elizabeth Frimpong is an experienced Higher Education Careers Adviser with over 15 years of experience in the field. She is a registered member of the Career Development Institute.

As the college’s Careers Advisor, Ms. Elizabeth helps our students make informed, realistic, and adaptable career decisions based on self and opportunity awareness, aspirations, confidence and approach to learning, which, if necessary, broaden their horizons.
